Been using photoshop since forever, but have heard great things about Manga Studio and Autodesk Sketchbook pro- photoshop without the clutter. Not sure which one to get though- or if there are any other good affordable alternatives out there.
What I'm looking for: Painterly digital art- not Manga, not comic strips, rather messy imitation oils/acrylics.
Good wet paint brushes
Good perspective tools for backgrounds (never really used, but these programs support them?)
Easy link with printers/scanners
Easy to learn (again, dab hand with Illustrator and Photoshop, so don't want something with a radically different interface).
Help would be appreciated- examples of work created on this programs would be great too! Cheers!
